So I go to a nearby Starbucks at least once a week (after our neighborhood coffee shop closed). I rarely buy coffee but collect a five gallon bucket of grounds and some coffee filters.
The baristas are happy to share the grounds. They don’t have to haul them to the trash and like the idea that my compost bin is the recipient. The grounds really heat up my compost. I admit this is one of the weird things I do for my garden.
