Rocking Chair by Laura Leiser
“The rush of life does disappear
in the steady cadence of a rocking chair
when out the window I do stare
at life unjaded, quiet and spare.
As I rock I view the most lovely lines
flowers uplifted, tendrils on vines
birds a flutter sing songs from on high
time is captured in my mind’s eye.”
