The first artichoke from a large root planted in the late fall. ‘Green Globe,’ I think. An incredible treat for dinner last week. Smaller ones are in the making.
The blueberries are plentiful on our one potted bush. We’re eating some almost daily.
Unfortunately, the strawberries are not ours. I didn’t replant last fall so we’re enjoying organic strawberries from a local farm.
And more blueberries with early white peaches from the Central Valley of California.
With garden celery, mint and
limes I made a favorite recipe from the Original Moosewood Cookbook–
Peppers stuffed with Greek Pilaf.
And I’ve saved the best for last–the Mother’s Day bouquet from my two sons.
