My raised beds are disassembled, wood recycled and soil fills every available large container. Pea gravel is raked aside. We’re about to make the call to have fabrication of our new raised beds begin.
I miss my summer vegetable garden laced with zinnias and marigolds and the daily harvests. I miss deciding on dinner after an afternoon stroll through the garden.
So you can see why trolling some of my favorite edible garden websites soothes my restlessness. The photo above is from Homestead Design Collective. Enjoy their gallery of Kitchen Gardens and Edible Landscapes.
They also recently designed the Sunset Magazine’s Test Garden.
Homestead Design Collective is a “San Francisco Bay Area landscape design firm focused on creating beautiful gardens that provide harvest.” (Website, About Us).
